I got really carried away with the pictures - sorry. In a few months Michael will be finishing his residency and we will be moving, so it is now time to sell our house. I can't believe how quickly the five years have gone by! I am excited about moving, but I am a little sad to be leaving our house. It was our first house and we worked so hard on it. We really must have had a vision because the house was really awful when we bought it, but we loved it. The house had horrible wall colors and 30 year old nasty gray carpet. So over the years we have transformed it the best we could on a small budget! We do love it, but are excited to be moving on to a new chapter in our lives. That new chapter involves an apartment for a year in Ohio while Michael does his fellowship, so we will miss the extra space for sure! So I have posted some pictures of the house before and after. I still have not figured out how to organize the pictures in a order on the blog, but you will get the idea. We have an interested buyer already. A resident starting next year so the move out time should coincide perfectly! I am a little nervous about the inspection - the house is over 70 years old...

I want you to come and decorate my house some day! I have always loved your style! You truly do have an incredible "eye" for fashion.
Wow-you've made it look great! Did you refinish the hardwood floors yourself?? We're going to attempt it in the old house we're buying-are we crazy?
It will be sad when you leave, but it will be a new canvas! I love your home in Jackson!
You have a beautiful home and I'm sure anywhere you move will become equally warm and appealing. Good luck!
Wow, I would hate to leave if I lived there. I am sure you won't have any problem selling it. It's beautiful.
I love your house!! You shouldn't have any problems selling it.
You have done such a great job on the house. I love all the color and decoration. I love the black furniture and thick moldings and glass door knobs. So much character!
We feel the same way about leaving our first home. Great plans for the future, but a little hard to let go of the past.
How exciting to have a possible buyer for the house! Is this person going to be a first year resident? (someone in Brad's class?)
Love it! You definately turned it into a warm and cozy home.
Your house looks great!! We have been looking arouond and thinking about putting ours on the market soon. It's kinds sad to think about leaving the house we brought Sophine home to. :(
I love it! You will have no problems! You have a very cool style... I love the makeover! Nate and I gutted our old house that was 100 years old, and can you believe the buyer didn't want an inspection when we sold it???? Maybe you'll luck out like we did! :)
The pictures don't do it justice.
You make me proud.
Mom
