Lazy Weekend

Ready to watch UT beat Mississippi State!

Not much to report from the weekend. It is the first weekend we have spent at home in a while. Friday night we went out to eat mexican (Will's favorite). We layed around most of the day on Saturday watching football. I did sneak out for a while to go to the mall! Sunday we went to church and cooked brunch at home. Will is teething so he was a little cranky off and on the whole weekend. Poor thing, his gums were purple, bruised I guess. Anyone have any good teething soothing tips? I have been doing Motrin, but that's about it...

I hate teething! Maybe let him chew on a spoon...the cold spoon helps (so they say). Glad you had a lazy weekend! Will looks cute in his TN orange!

with lilly, i swore by those teething tablets. they melt in their mouth and are just herbal. they really worked with her--mamie just gags on them and acts like i am trying to poison her, but you may want to try them with will. or maybe not--last time i recommended something to you, will ended up with diaper rash! can't wait to see you guys!

Can't help you with the teething! But, I can help you with the attire! Looks like you guys needed to do laundry.

Teething is not fun! Keep drugging him is the bet thing I know if. Of course, he can suck on cold things, etc. , but I've never found that helps a whole lot.
I loved seeing all your earrings on Mandy this weekend in Savannah. They are so pretty!!!

Hey Courtney. You TOTALLY did not offend me. I completely thought the same thing before having a son with autism. In fact, I started not to mention it because I didn't want to sound upset at all.
Your little boy is beautiful and I know it's a hard decision about shots, especially with all the media attention right now. Pray and go with your gut.
I am thrilled to find you though because I love your jewelry. I'll have to look and order!

Don't waste money on oragel. Well, that's what I hear! Poor, sweet Will! I love lazy weekends, and I guess that's good because we don't have much of a life these days. Can't wait to see you guys!

Courtney, I have found that alternating Mortin and Tylenol helps. I have tried the Hyland pills and they didn't do anything for Max, but I know a lot of people that swear by them.
I love all of your new jewelry and your photography - that is something that I think is hard do to - I can't seem to get photos of the earrings. My husband is working on my website now, so hopefully I can start posting stuff soon. It has been so much fun to do!

My brother went to the UT game. It's nice to have a relaxing day at home-especially when you've been traveling so much. Another teething idea...try letting Will chew on a wet wash cloth that's been in the fridge. I did that w/Drew.

Someone told me to freeze a wash rag and let them suck on it. It's supposed to feel good. They sell those teething tablets that may be worth a try. I alternated tylenol and ibuprofen and that helped. Good luck.

I would put frozen peach slices in those baby mesh things and let William suck on them. It made a huge mess but it seemed to make him feel better.

No, the center of the flower is 14k that I cut off of a 14 guage piece of wire. The flower was sawn out of 22g sheet silver. I used the wire as a rivet to hold the circle and the petals together, so you can see the gold on the back of the piece too. Hope your gold slip works!

Will looks so much like one of my friends little boys in that picutre! I can't get over it. And of course those eyes..... He looks good in orange- a UT fan for life then, I guess.
