33 Weeks
I do not have any recent pictures to post, but I thought I needed to blog anyway! Pictures are more fun though - I love it when I read other people's blogs and they have new pictures posted! Anyway, I am 33 weeks tomorrow!! That makes me very happy since I will be able to come off of bedrest at 36 or 37 weeks! Hopefully 36! So three weeks to go...light at the end of the tunnel. Will is getting bigger which means I am too! My stomach is so tight I feel like I might pop at any moment! We are so excited that he will be here soon. However, now I am getting a little nervous about the labor and delivery! I really need to stop watching a A Baby Story I guess. I don't understand why the women on that show do not opt for the epidural, not that having one naturally is a bad thing - more power to those women. I cry everyday when the baby is born and the mom and dad see the baby! It is so sweet - I am sure I will cry my eyes out when it is my own. Well that is an update on us, hopefully I will have more pictures to post soon!

Haley

My mom has been getting on to me for not posting a picture of our chocolate lab Haley (our first child), so I have decided to do so today. The reason I haven't is because I have been posting from our laptop instead of the desktop computer (because of bedrest) and I don't have as many pictures of Haley on the laptop. Can you tell I feel guilty? Here are a few from last Christmas. She is the greatest dog ever! She is so good inside and good with kids - I have a feeling that Will and Haley will be big buddies!

Shower in Atlanta

I had to post the pictures of the wonderful ladies that hosted the baby shower I could not attend! My mom stood in to represent me! It was so nice of them to still have the shower, they went to a lot of trouble they didn't have to. Thanks you Charlotte, Sharon, Jodi, Mandy and Melanie, I love you guys!
Surprising Me with the Chair...

Mom and her friends were so excited about surprising me with the chair. So they made me cover my eyes when I came in after they set up the chair and new rug. They were so funny - I felt like a little kid Christmas morning, you know when you have to wait at the top of the stairs until everything is just right, then you get to come down and they get a picture of your face when you see all the things Santa brought! Oops, I just posted the pictures and they are in reverse order, but you get the idea...:)

Beth Saves the Day!

I was not able to travel to the funeral for my father-in-law because of bedrest. It was so hard seeing Michael leave by himself, but we knew it was best. So that I would not be home alone, my cousin Beth came from Atlanta to stay with me! We never get to get together so now was a perfect time - even though I may not be much fun right now we found many ways to pass the time! It was so NICE of her to come down and stay with me. She is taking care of me, she took me to the doctor, she fixes my meals, etc. However I had to draw the line when we ran a quick errand after my doctor's appointment, she tried to make me ride in a wheel chair at Hobby Lobby. I refused and was fine, but she warned me next outing I have to ride in the wheelchair. We went to Hobby Lobby to get fabric and ribbon to make burp cloths. She brought her sewing machine and we made the cutest little burp cloths. We made some for Will and for her sister-in-law and my friend Ryan, who is having a girl so we got to have fun with pink. I posted a picture of a few of the ones we have made so far. We still have to make our camoflauge burp cloths! We also washed all of Will's stuff, clothes, towels, washcloths, blankets, sheets, everything! Now it all smells like a sweet baby and are all organized in his drawers! We were so productive - thanks to Beth! I have such a great cousin! Thanks Bethy!

More on the nursery...

Here are some updated pictures of the nursery. This past weekend we had a shower in Atlanta. Obviously I couldn't go because of bedrest, so my mom, Charlotte, Jodi, and Sharon (mom's friends, as soon as I get pictures from my mom I will post those too) drove up after the shower and brought all the gifts! It was so nice of them and it made my week!!!! We had so much fun opening the great gifts and, don't tell my doctor but, I went out to eat with them! I sat the whole time though! Anyway, my mom and dad surprised me with the chair for my nursery. There is a little story about this chair. My grandad passed away a couple of years ago so my parents got some of his furniture and one of those pieces was the most comfortable glider. He rocked in that chair all the time, he loved it. It was a tan velour fabric and you can see where he wore out the fabric! So my parents had it recovered for us, so now Gran can rock Will with us in spirit. I love the chair! She also brought up the rug she found, so his room is complete, except for a few things here and there. It has been so much fun putting his nursery together!

Will Wants Out!!!!
Hey everybody. It has been awhile since I posted, but I have a good reason. I blog to you now from a hospital bed. A little premature labor! No problems up to this point and westill don't know what has caused it. They have stopped the contractions, but want to watch me for another day or so to be sure they don't start up again (this is my second visit since Wednesday night!). So keep us in your prayers - we are only 29 weeks so we want Will to "cook" a little longer!
